Helicopters were once considered a luxury reserved for only the top teams and television film crews. That has changed. Helicopters can provide a bird’s-eye view of the racecourse, allowing a spotter to call out potential hazards and obstacles that may pose a threat to racers and spectators alike. Additionally Helicopters can be used to transport medical personnel that can assist with medical emergencies that a driver or co-driver may have. Teams are utilizing helicopter support for the additional layer of safety they can provide.

Eternity Helicopters pilots and crew are highly trained and experienced to ensure that they can operate safely in challenging environments. Additionally, our R44 Raven II helicopter is equipped with the latest safety features and technology to minimize the risk of accidents and ensure that we can respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations. This includes a powerful FAA approved VHF radio installation that enables air-to-ground communications between the helicopter, race vehicle, chase vehicles, race organizer and of course, the Weatherman Relay.
